• When embarking on a long road trip, save time by being honest with yourself and admitting right off that you will drive like a speed demon the whole way. 
• When exiting a construction zone, traffic fines are reduced by half.
• Travel in Utah has it's own unique hazards.  The following example illustrates one of the more frightening possibilities.

In 1968 a nerve agent was released at the Army's Dugway Proving Grounds in Utah.  The wind carried the lethal gas 30 miles away to Skull Valley where it killed thousands of sheep.  My greatest fear is that while I am hiking in this area, another accidental release could happen and when my dead body is discovered they'll wonder: "What was he doing out here with all these sheep?"
